Ministry Training
In order to be as effective as possible, Group Leaders receive live training, training manuals, lesson plans and supplies, lesson instruction sheets (including worship music lyrics), and access to on-line resources promoting youth ministry.
Live training for all Group Leaders is provided by LifeSong to prepare Group Leaders to teach the curriculum. The training is offered at various times and days to accommodate scheduling needs. If a Group Leader is unable to attend one of the designated Live Training Sessions, she should contact LifeSong to arrange an alternative training date and time. LifeSong asks all Group Leaders to complete training prior to the commencement of the curriculum year.
LifeSong training is comprehensive and covers a variety of topics that prepare the Group Leaders for using the lesson materials and being successful at teaching and Christian ministry. Group Leaders should anticipate spending approximately 2.0 hours in live training.
